An update on forming a possible gardening group to add a bit of colour to the planters in the communal gardens:
Linda and I did a survey of the gardens and we concluded that only the square ones might be suitable, using perennial flowering plants together with bulbs and trailing plants.
There are more planters than I imagined but we would start by doing a trial on a few initially to see what plants would be suitable.
This project will need the support, help and commitment of as many people as possible to make it a success, and
we plan to have an open meeting soon – venue and date to follow.
